everyones posting up new enteries
i have decided to once again resume posting, as now i am shifted for work here at the computing lab for long periods of time, and believe it or not, there really is so much you can do on the internet...

hahaha, so yes- i am still alive- and not sun bathing somewhere in the Carribeans ching (i wish) :)

whats everyone up to spring break? wanna go to nycccccccccccc? i really wanna go.. lets do it. start booking flights NOW. uh huh.

hey pics are coming soon .. just to make this site loook more interesting

for the mean time, heres a little update:
ever since hong kong, berkeleys been really mellow, not much happening. ed's room mate alex managed to get me hooked on american tv, so i have been watching all these reality TV shows.. its great. Project runway is a great show- everyone go watch it.
we went to a gay bar in berkeley last weekend, the white horse, my first experience ever here in the US going to a gay bar. it was good fun- lots of dancing. they even sold STELLA ARTOIS. its after hong kong this winter, its offically become my fav beer.
and oh yeh, midterms are coming up soon. booo.
yeh, as you can tell, nothing exceptionally interesting has been happening lately, i just felt like updating to show some signs of life on this site

..... check back for pictures sooonn :)

just posting so that you all know I am alive and very well...and I will be coming back to hk on the 18th of dec.. :D cant wait

I am currently working at the computer labs on campus as a 'junior consultant'...its funny, I don't know how I got the job considering its related to computers, anyhow its been cool, we basically get paid to surf the net a lot of the times..and occasionally help students here with printing problems and word or excel problems. I figuered that this is one reason why I don't go on msn or aim much anymore.. since I go on the internet so much at work (we aren't allowed to chat) I really dont feel like it later on recreationally... I have been reading the news online more though.. thats a good thing.

Berkeleys starting to grow on me these days, I am actually getting used to this place. Its weird thinking about high school in Hong Kong- how the environment is soo different and the transition. It doesn't seem that long ago- and yet in a way it does. The transition wasn't easy- but I am sure we all had to go through it. KGV was really fun- I really enjoyed my time there and right now here at Berkeley, I think I am starting to see college life in a new light, sophomore year has definitely been very different.

My digital camera got stolen not so long ago- I wanna get a new one asap. any suggestions? I'll post up pics for people to see soon- I feel the best way to communicate effectively to people how you're doing is through images- visually... in the mean time, you'll just have to read my boring blogs,..whoa. I haven't written a 'long' entry in a while. haha, props to you if you got this far. :D

new layout

what do you guys think? yeh, its really really easy to make things look good on photoshop. I have been taking these photoshop lessons from our church, and they have seriously helped me a lot.

the summer so far

Summers been good, my studio architecture class has been quite time consuming, where I have had to stay up for many all nighters. Works been challenging, its sad to say that I am only in it for the money.. :)

Last week we went camping to Tahoe, this lake mountain vacation place in California. The view was stunning, and the Sierra mountains here in Cali are beautiful, we really should do more outtings as such :)

I have to go draw now, but I'll try post photos up later if I have time.

-----special shoutout to my girls back at home- emma n jess***----
glad to know that both of u guys are having such a great time, be productive and stay safe, and enjoy your summers or whats left of it- and i know it sucks i cant be there, but i*ll see u guys at christmas!

----edit-here are some photos for you guys back at home :)

when janet came to SF, early on this month to do an internship at Stanford, we had  mini kgv reunion- this is use at Union Square, part of the center commerical district in San Fran. Don't ask me why we decided to take the photo in front of that thing...

this be us at Sather Tower, this old clock tower on the Berkeley campus, the view up of the bay leading to SF up there was really nice..

Tohoe- Sardine Lake- this is totally not a good representation of the view we saw from Tahoe.. I guess its one of those had to be there moments.. but doesn't it still look like something from a postcard?

yupyupyup. this be all i have now :)

hey everyone. haven't updated in a loooong time. I have already moved into my new place- its such a good change from being in the dorms- a lot more space- ask me for my new address. I am currently doing summer school (Session C, ED 11A), and working at the campus library. quite tiring- but at least I am productive- or trying to be :)

Road trip to LA

Last week, JY, James and I road-tripped down to LA for a week, we had an awesome time- keeping in mind that I have never been to LA before, we also met up with Fiona- go to James’ site for photos.

LA is everything I expected it to be and more- Hollywood and all that glamorous stuff seems to be really hyped up when I was there- and no, I did not see any celebrities or people rollerblading in bikinis… or surfers come to think of it. Many women there seemed to live comfortably in very high stiletto heels- something which I have always marveled at- I really wanted to ask them if it hurts their feet- or are they just used to the pain to the point where their feet starts to numb…  Anyhow, we went sightseeing and did a lot of shopping, we drove to this outlet mall that was half way to Vegas, it was sooo hot, I think that would qualify as the first sort-of desert I have been to as well while I am at it.

On the Friday before James and I left, we had a BBQ to celebrate James’ 19th b-day, it was really chill Fiona and her pledge sis was there too. I have also come to realize on the trip that my idea of fun has changed a lot since high school at KGV. Its interesting to think back on what would constitutes to a good Friday or Saturday night back in Hong Kong, and what fun means here, with a good group of friends ‘halfway across the world’ as James likes to put it. All in all, I had a great time- many thanks to JY for driving us around and being such a good tour guide!

In the mean time- I hope everyone’s enjoying the summer and having a good time :D

here are some photos to give u guys an idea of what LA was like :)

ok. now for more photos. i think this time it will work:

roadtrip- on the way to LA, on the 101 freeway

Halfway to LA.. hahaha, its my first roadtrip, so i am allowed to take that many photos :). i kept telling JY to slow the car down so i can take these.. it was great

i think this was when we reached Santa Barbara..

Hollywood!... actually, it was that exciting.. these elmo in the background

this sunsets soo pretty- taken from the car on our way back from the outlet mall that was like 2 hours away. JY said we were almost half way to vegas!

JY and I- at the Getty museum... the landscape architecture was pretty cool, i don't think we appreciated the 18th century artwork inside the museum as much though.. oh well.

Fiona and I at the bbq

this was taken when we had to go back to Berkeley for summer school :( at LAX airport..

THANKS JY. we had sucha good time.. come visit me at Berkeley :)

----thats all folks. hope it works
